Native Hawaiian Cultural Trademark Study Gallery
On May 26, 2006, Kunani Nihipali, Jon Johnson, Ipo Nihipali, Kanalu Young, Ho‘oipo Pa, and Jon Osorio met to discuss a partnership between the Center for Hawaiian Studies, State Foundation for Culture and the Arts, and Hale Ku‘ai Cooperative to complement upcoming events on the trademark survey and a season of arts events.
On June 20th, the Study held sessions in Kealakekua, Kohala and West Hawai‘i.  Ohe Kapala maker George Place, Jr., Facilitator Jan Cody, Glenn Okuma, and Pete Jensen of Palolo ‘Olelo were among those present at the Kona site.
